Aim 1: Develop and optimize algorithms to accurately predict phenotypic traits and ancestry from genetic information. These algorithms will allow inferences to be made about a person who is the source of an unidentified DNA sample for law enforcement purposes. They may also find use in medical applications.
Aim 2: Discover answers to any other forensic, bioinformatics, or other research questions, not currently contemplated under Aim 1, that may become of interest to Parabon study investigators and its authorized collaborators and sponsors in the future.
The Application obtains the user information you provide when you download and register the Application and data collected when you use the application’s phenotype and ancestry collection features.
